My wife is away and I gave my Toshiba X200 to use while she is there because she liked the web cam and I have a new Sager NP9850. The system was running fine yesterday, but today she moved it to another room to print a document. When the system is turned on it makes a sound like it will start and then nothing.

What has been tried so far:
Pulled the battery and unplugged did a hardware reset.
Tried pulling the battery and using power only.
    Tried battery only.
Attempted to connect to an external monitor.

All of these where done with hardware resets right before attempting. So far nothing has worked, the power light stays on and it progresses no further. Any ideas of what could be the problem? Also she has admitted to using the system on a bed which could block the cooling of the system, but it shut down normally as far as I know. Any help would be appreciated.

Try removing the ram modules and the hard drive and re-seat them. Hope it works out.

Thanks, I can try might be hard to walk my wife through the procedure over the phone, but I will try. My phone tech support skills are very rusty. Thanks for the reply. :)
