I'm really considering this laptop and I was wondering if all the models have the same motherboard and chipset meaning does the single graphics card model have the same motherboard with 2 graphics card slots as the model with SLI ? If it does then is it the same one as the X200 model available in the UK wher I am ?

They all have single motherboard and chipset.

Graphics card uses modular design (toshiba non standard though, not MXM), and technically you can swap graphic cards between different submodels (maybe along with cooling system).

So the motherboard on the non SLI models has 2 PCIX slots for graphics card with only one used right?

Not sure about SLI, but they use some kind of (large) propietary connector, not PCIX. I wont be surprised if both SLI chips will sit on single graphics module/connector, however to confirm it somebody will have to look inside their SLI machine :)
