    Toshiba X205 & XP Problems

    Hi Everyone,

    I recently just installed xp on my Toshiba X205 and I have been having problems installing some drivers. The main concern I have is the Fn. Keys. I dont know how to install them and if anyone could help me out it would be greatly apreciated.

    P.S. The other drivers I need are,

    DEVICE MANAGER
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Ethernet Controller
    Modem device on high definition audio bus(I do have sound but dont know what this is)
    PCI memory Controller
    SM bus controller
    Unknown Device(I know but I cant figure out what it is anyway)

    You can install the "vista" drivers from the toshiba website, they'll work under XP...

    About the FN keys, that's the only thing that doesn't work under XP...

    you need the kb888111 hotfix to get your HD audio bus working. Then the drivers will work. I posted a link recently.

    Function keys I haven't gotten to work, but I don't use them anyway. Everything else (except HD-DVD which I don't need either) works great.

    btw, I have all of the drivers for any X205-sli3 if you can't find them.
