Thought you guys find this interesting :
In Australia they sell the X205 S3949 version with the X9000 series CPU and 4Gig of ram + Vista Premium.

Anyone have that Cpu installed in his machine ? I would be interested in the scores in 3Dmark06.

According to Microsoft with the SP1 for Vista now it will see and use 4 gig of ram in the 32bit system too.
I will find out tomorrow when i get my OCZ 2x2gig but isn't Vista Premium comes in two Version 32/64 bit?

sp1 will SEE the 4 gigs of ram, but it wont address more than 4 gb of ram (including dedicated graphics memory) due to the physical limitation of 32 bit architecture.

and all versions of vista are available in 64 bit, but only ultimate comes with both 32 bit and 64 bit dvds, you have to call microsoft if you want them to ship you the 64 bit version of anything else.

    Thanks for your replies.
I rushed over to my buddies house and tried 4gig's.
It indeed works with my X200 SP1

Yeah, it will recognize it, but not actually use it... ran into this when the RC1 for the SP1 came out and I tried it.... got excited, then tested a bit and it doesn't actually use it... just a different way that it detects the amount. This is with 32bit.
