Should be getting my x205 on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Anyone look into Toshiba's extended warranties for the X205?

    They offer many different options.

I'm not sure which to get, if any.

It depends on what you need. If you plan on keeping your laptop for a long time, then go for a longer warranty that covers your notebook. If you plan on replacing your laptop fairly soon (1-2 years), then I would go for a shorter warranty.

In regards to the options (such as SystemGuard, On-Site repair, etc), I would go for the options you think you may need. For example, if you plan on traveling a lot with your notebook, I would suggest purchasing accidental damage service. I am wary of the SystemGuard plans however - they seem fairly superfluous, as they are covered by other warranties offered by Toshiba.

Thanks, I'll explore all the options and compare them to the fashion I will likely use my laptop.
