    Toshiba X205 Screen Failure

    My 3 year old Toshiba X205's Screen recently gave up on me, it now randomly shows green colours mostly instead of black, within dos too(so gpu problem unlikely).

    Does this sound like a screen problem or the inverter's bad?

    Mine was multi color (rainbow) effect. I ended up replacing the LCD and it took care of the problem. You are lucky that you got 3 years out of your screen. I only got 4 months out of mine! I havent been real thrilled with toshiba since they wouldnt cover it.
