While playing Left 4 Dead I get a message that says "Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered - nvlddmkm nVidia Driver"

I've looked into the problem with no success. I was wondering if any other owners of this laptop have had this problem and successfully corrected it.

It is a random pain in the butt I can live with but would prefer not to live with. Any help would be great.

You should try using a program like HwMonitor to find the maximum GPU temperature while you run games. Perhaps the GPU is overheating, as Tinderbox suggests.

From my experience, that error is not related to temps, but to drivers... Just try a different drivers...
