Toshiba X205-S7483 and XP, how to do it?

Hi,

I am very tempted to get a Toshiba X205

details here:

but I'd like to run XP on it as well, I am pretty sure I can resize the NTFS partition so that I can put XP on a different partition, but I am major worried about the driver issue:

1) SATA business, where can I find the drivers for the laptop to slipstream onto an XP cd?

2) Video
3) Sound
4) Networking- LAN
5) Networking- WLAN

Do a browse through the pages of this forum. The SATA XP driver issue has been addressed in numerous threads over the last month. The basic procedures remain the same; get the driver from intel, either slipstream it into xp or use a usb floppy, etc......

 

Yep, I grabbed the drivers from Intel, at:

http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-009245.htm

for me I eventually got led to:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/fil...XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go!

and to make a floppy for XP install at

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/det...&osfullname=windows* xp professional&lang=eng

(I had to get a USB floppy drive to get the flopy to work)

 

This link maybe helpfull, its the europe Toshiba website, all the drivers for the X200 (also known as the X205) can be found there, for XP too! just click XP instead of Vista for the operating system!

I was able to get everything working using the link above from TonyZ along with the nvidia drivers from laptopvideo2go.com, however I cannot find the driver for the monitor itself. Anyone know where I might find it?
