but, for the price is logic that use 8600m GT.
think that sli5 would be nice option -

At that price, it would be better to find a SLi1 on clearance for $1500-$1700 and get the T9300 in yourself.

To be honest i haven't found any game (released within the last 2 years) that doesn't show me a very important increase in performance with sli enabled VS sli disabled (im talking of, at least, 40% more)... This is the list of games that i have played: Crysis, Bioshock, Gears of War, COD4, Need For Speed ProStreet, Dirt, Timeshift, Age Of Empire 3 (with the expansions), UT3, World in Conflict, Simcity Societies, The Sims 2 (with all the expansions), Fifa 07 & 08, FarCry, NBA Live 07&08, Warcraft 3, CS 1.6, MADDEN 08... Soon to test Assasin's Creed...
Now, i know that the 8800 is better than 2 8600, but i still think that the 8600 Sli is a very powerfull setup... -
Jose - You are right I saw a nice increase in performance from single card to sli both on my sli1 and also on my new XPS M1730 laptops, so sli does make a difference in most games. My son is now using the sli1 laptop (I don't want to sell it since it is a very good laptop!!!) and it runs most new games very fast and smoothly.

only game i've seen support D-SLi is Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. although enabling the option in Windows doesn't enable the option in game. i haven't found a single game that doesn't grind to a stand-still and blue screen eventually while playing in D-SLi mode.
