Hey guys, I had a question about the X300/X305. The red keyboard lights, at the top of the keyboard next to the speakers, can they be turned off? Or are they always on? Not talking about the touch sensitive button lights, but the ones at the far top corners of the keyboard.

    Thanks

Ok, so let me ask, what other lights are you talking about, the touch sensitive media button lights? And can they be turned off?

Just debating between this notebook and the HP DV5T, just wondering if the overall brightness and 'flashyness' of the Toshiba can be toned down.

    Thanks

The media buttons, LEDs near the speakers, theres a bar above the touch pad, all can get turned off with a button on the media button bar
