    Hi!

I have an issue with my notebook. When I tried to turn it on, the only reaction is the flashing LED of power source. LED is flashing in the following sequence: S-S-S-S-L-S-S-S.

    Short - S

    Long - L

Do you know, what might be a problem.

    Thanks,
    Bogumił Chiliński

If it is still under warranty, I would give Toshiba Support a call.

If not, I found a site with Toshiba notebook error codes; unfortunately you need to convert the Binary Code to a Hexidecimal Code [I am short on time so I don't have the time to figure it out right now].

    Error Codes:
Toshiba 2805-s402 Power light blinking orange
Toshiba Laptop Error codes (Power flashing led) and Manuals

The Binary Code is a list of "0" and "1"; with 0 = to the short blink, and 1 = to the long blink.
So in your case you have 0000 1000

Here's a wiki on how to convert the Binary to Hexidecimal

    Also includes a video
