Not sure whether this post belongs here... but i was wondering if anyone has any info about whether the mcafee program that is pre-installed on the Sli1 uses an excessive amount of system resources. I am asking this because my trial just expired and i have been reading some of the threads about virus programs many of which infer that mcafee is a system hog  . I was under the impression that this virus software might have been optimized by toshiba but I am not sure. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

DItch it - Get Kaspersky or AVG - Take a peak at the Security sub-forum.

Optimized for a Toshiba? Nope. Not a chance. They just pay Toshiba to have their software preinstalled on your computer.
