I have Toshiba L505D-S5965 sitting here that needs a new DC charging port put in. Does anyone know of a part # or if it is on a separate board from the MB like others that I've done. I need to get this done by the end of the Thanksgiving week and I just wanted to start looking into it. The Toshiba site isn't as helpful as I wanted so I figured I'd ask around...

Fixed. Turns out the charging port is a separate piece connected to the power wires from the MB. The 2 red wires were broken off at the solder joint. Easier fix than I figured it would be after removing what seemed like a 100 screws.

Thanks for coming back to update us. :) I hate when people fix their own problem but don't come back to tell us how they did it which might help others in the future.
