well their both new, so their both pretty good.

i didnt know that the f50 had power for gaming, the last time i checked was in august, when the qosmio only had a 9700M GTS.

so the difference is between a 15 and a 17".

the looks that will stand out in all crowds or something that doesnt get that much attention.

i myself have the x300/305 and its perfect, but i do wish i knew about the SLI version.

i love the looks of the x305, but it is big. if you want something thats even a little portable, id get the f55. but i do carry my x300 to school with me and back again. for it being so big, its pretty light.

so id suggest getting the f55 if you want something portable and powerful.

but id suggest the x305 that looks amazing, really powerful if you wanna spend more than 1600$ - +2000$

ive actually heard that you cant really get them anywhere, so i dont know if anyone would have them.

i like the f55, so i think you should go for it, but also love the looks of the x305.

i think you should phone toshiba to see if you can order it through them.

    Only a 9700 GTS?

That is one of the top non-SLI laptop video cards. I just got my hands on it and it runs (for a notebook) fast as heck. Most if not all settings maxed out on my games (WAR, Mass Effect so far). I admit I only have a 8800GTX on my desktop as a point of reference and a 8800 GTS in my other notebook but I'm pretty happy given that a fast 15.4 is hard to find (not counting $$$$ boutique lappies :p).

The 7350 is the updated 7200 CPU (i.e. Core 2 Duo 2.0 ghz)

well it only has a 9700M GTS is compared to what this thing could have. i like the 9700M GTS, but in cod4, maxed out i can only get above 30 fps and not go over 40. id like the 9700M GTS SLI or the 9800M GS for 2,000$ US, which is alot better.

since this thing can support 2 9800M GTX in SLI, then thats why im saying only a 9700M GTS.

Actually I do not know or think this laptop will support SLI as there may not be any room for it or enough cooling, but I could be wrong. I do know that it will support the 9800M GTX as that is what it is available with in Europe. Hope this helps. God Bless :)

on their website, it states it can have 9800M GTS or 9700M GTS in SLI.

they also stated in an interview, they have a laptop with quad core and 9800M GTX SLI. see if you can find it on youtube.

At what resolution and AA level? Even a DDR3 8600mGT can achieve 30fps @ 1440x900. The 97GTS should slaughter that game.

i get 60fps indoors with 2xAA everything maxed at 1440x900 and it averages 40-60fps outdoors. This on my F55-Q502

well in cod4, if i max out everything, aa and all, i stay above 30 fps and never go below. this is online, could be 25v25 and all out firefight.

now what i like to do is take off aa, remove a couple extras (like ragdoll etc) and i get above 70 fps and average 90 or so.
