    Hi everyone,
I have got a Toshiba laptop of satellite P205-S6267. I have reinstalled the OS for both Windows Vista and XP and updated needed drivers. There are 3 problems:

    1) The touchpad is working OK, however the hotkey key of Touchpad enable/disable (Fn+F9) does not work anymore although I can disable/enable the touchpad through the ControlPanel\Mouse Property.
    2) When I turn off system from Windows Vista, it is automatically done. When running Windows XP, I get a notice "It is safety to shutdown your computer now" after turning off computer and the power is not shutted down automatically unless I have to push the power button to complete.
    3) The Power meter doesn't work although the batery seem to be working OK. If I open Power Option Property\Power Meter from Control Panel, I always see an unchanged message: Current power source:Batteries, Total battery power remaining:50%

    Please give me a solution.
    Thank you

Please do not double post per forum rules. I wish I could help with your problem, but someone with more knowledge will hopefully come along.
