    Hi,
On Toshiba website, I noticed an option to configure a laptop A205 with 2 hard drives. Has anyone got a Toshiba laptop with 2 hard drives? I would like to know how much weight does it add, and is it better to go with 2- 120GB hard drives or 1-250GB hard drive.

Hi do you know what the speed of the drives is on the laptop with a dual drive?
    I've recently purchased a Toshiba A205 4617 with a single 250gb drive, and speed of 4200rpm
I read on some forums that that is slow compared to 5400rpm models, but really, this laptop is very fast, with 2gb of ram, and I rarely notice any lag.

I was pleasantly suprised by the weight; it weighs slightly more than my old compaq presario which was 5.5lbs- this one is around the 6 pound mark.
It is really fine to use on your lap when travelling or sitting down.
Sorry I can't give any comparison to a laptop with a dual drive.

My gut reaction would be to go with the single drive, unless by getting the 2 drive model (such as in the A205 S4639) you're going to increase the total capacity ( I believe that model has a total of 280gb)

    Hope this helps,
    Heidi
