Customer Service for Toshiba sounds like a robot. nuff said.

Anyways my PnP Hasn't been working for a while now, and as I search for fixes for this I realize theres even more problems then I knew.

    1. Speaker lights, the lights below the speakers should work? I have a Nvidia GeForce 7600 gfx card in my comp 2gb of ram etc, so why no lights?> no problem there

    2. My Computer randomly shuts off, Just browsing the internet?

    I have windows vista

I thought it was windows vista so I installed windows XP and it got even worse.....So Iwent back to vista. XP it shut off even more than usual...

I have warranty until Nov 2008 but will they do anything? Probably not. I took it to a service and repair center and they couldnt do anything.

Ohh did i mention the recover discs they send I only got cd 1 of 2...but no 2 of 2?

And they want to charge me like $35 to send me a new one when they are at fault, I kept all the cd's together, I saw the 1 of 2 and thought it was weird at first, then I thought maybe the cd is in the back of the case(double disc case)...when I opened it. nothing.

My laptop came as defective as it possibly can, anything I can do?

Are you getting blue screen errors when it randomly shuts off? If you are goto your C drive... Open the Windows folder.. An see if you have a folder named "minidump" If you do see if you can post the error codes or the files.. That would make it really simple.. Or i would return it if possible.. If not call customer service... An tell them it randomly shuts off.. They should send replace the computer or parts..

Nothing but giberish in it, and the last itme it shut off was like 2 or 3 days ago not the 26th of feb which is when that file was created.

and would they take it back? its like a year old xD still in warranty though..

The speaker lights are only for the higher end p100/p105's. Those with 7900gs/gtx's (like mine). The lower end p100s only have placeholders for lights but dont have them. Also, it might sound like your laptop is overheating badly for it to turn off randomly. Grab some canned air and blow out your fans. Does it run hot?
