This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Here in the States there is, what I'm guessing may be, a similar comparison, between the Tecra R840 and Satellite R840. They look the same but the Sat has fewer ports, no docking connector, no ati gfx option, etc... The Satellite seeming to be a stripped Tecra, selling in big box stores (and online).

    In your case, however, it doesn't seem to be as many differences but here is what I'm seeing, just from the spec list:
    • i5-2520 vs i5-2410
    • Win 7 Pro vs Home
    • Port Replicator Connector vs None
    • More wireless connectivity vs Less
    • Toshiba Easy Guard tools & utilities vs None
    • 3yr Warranty vs 1yr
