    Hi,

I just got a Toshiba M45-s269 Satellite model. the screen is the wide screen model.

My question is that when the display resolution on this model is changed to 1024x768, the fonts get blurry and icons as well.

I have to "center display" to get sharp fonts but doing so puts black borders around the entire display.

Is this normal for a wide screen laptop?

Any tipswould be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

    Shankar

LCD displays do not look as good when not at the native resolution, yours being 1280x800.
