I have a toshiba tecra 8200. I dropped a glass on the lcd screen and cracked it. I searched for a cheap replacement for the screen and found a 8100 tecra that was being sold as parts for cheap. Looking at the picture and compairing some specs i thought i could gut the working lcd screen out of the tecra 8100 and put it in the 8200. When I opened the two up I found that they have a the same socket for the floresent backlight, but the other connection that pluggs in to the lcd was different on the 8100 and 8200 lcd. As well the socket on the motherboards were different as well. My question is... Is there any way to use the samsung screen I got in the parts 8100 tecra in my 8200 tecra? Thanks :)
