First of all, I will like to apologize if I'm creating a thread in the wrong section or if someone already created a similar topic of discussion.
Second i will also like to apologize for my englishi hope you guys can understand me and help me with my problem.
I bought a Toshiba laptop during christmas season, and I sent my Vista upgrade request (all the paper work) in January. I also received a confirmation number and they told me it might take btw 6-8 weeks. Recently I tried to check the status of my order on the toshiba website, but it keep giving me an error message.
I know that I could tried to contact them by phone, but believe it or not, with my business hours there is no way I can call them before they close... so I will like to know if someone is on my same situation and or if they experience it and microsoft provide them with a solution.
Thank you for your time.

I too bought a Tosh late last year and it took
until just last week to process and receive the
VISTA upgrade disk -- but I did finally get it...

I will not be getting my vista upgrade, I was cheated out of it. I submitted all my registration information back in December, got my email confirmation and then waited the 6 to 8 weeks it said to wait. When it didn't arrive I emailed them and they said on the day I validated, there were network errors so I would have to redo the process. I redid the process and got a new confirmation email stating all was completed and they will ship the order. I checked on the status last week, it said order shipped. I checked today and the order was cancelled by the company because they said I submitted my proof of purchase too late, it was sent in December and confirmed in december. Maybe the Division of Consumer Affairs in my state can get an answer.
