Does anyone one here own a Toshiba with one (specifically, an A100)? I'm curious whether it performs well, and whether it benchmarks close to the general specs for the card.

Does anyone have one with a 256MB card? Is there a big difference in performance?

I just got the exact model you are referring to. THe a100 SK9.

Let me tell you its an awesome computer. Ive only had it for a day or two, but ive installed and played call of duty 2, battlefield 2142, FEAR, NFS Most wanted, halo, and handles them all really well.

Obviously the A100 is a great series price/performance wise...as to if u want to know if the 256mb chip will be better, it will be much better when running very high resolutions, but when running avarage resolutions at say 1024x768, the 256mb chip will only pull a little more FPS than the 128mb chip

If u want real performance go for more PIPES...and more BIT, and Frequencys ofcourse
