    Toshiba weird green and purple bar glitch!

    My Toshiba Satellite C655 laptop is about 8 months old an in very good condition ! I do take care of it but randomly today my screen had a green/purple line on the bottom half sometimes it would be solid colors purple an green but still visible to see behind it to see the task bar! or sometimes it'll show the TOP of the screen with it on the bottom !

    I'll post pictures because this says the images are to large :D

    If you can, plug your laptop into an external monitor [via HDMI or VGA port] and see if the external monitor also displays the weird colorations. If it does not, then it could be a problem with your LCD screen. If it does display on the external monitor, then likely a problem with your graphics chipset [ie would need a motherboard replacement].
