I know I should post this in the review section but I cant so here you go:

    Specs:
Intel core duo T7100 1.8GHz 800MHZ Front side bus
    2GB DDR2-667MHZ dual channel RAM
    1GB Turbo memory module
    17inch 1440x900 display TruBrite technology
Nvidia GeForce 8700M-GT graphics card with 256MB dedicated memory (511MB total with TurboCache shared memory)
    240GB hard drive space (120GB 5400RPM x2)
HD DVD-ROM/DVD Super Multi (+/- double layer)
Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965 AGN (802.11a/g/n)
    Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
Built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam and microphone
    Fingerprint reader

The one I am going to review is the older version of it which costs $1999 or below there is a better one with T7300, better monitor, 512MB graphics card and also 320GB hardrive!

    First impressions:
To be honest I thought the design was crap. The lid had a "Flare carmine" design which was had red and black waves. The computer had a silver and black bottomed chassis. It weighted a generous 9.4pounds (4.3kg app.) and was over 2inches thick! 4/10

    Built quality:
The built quality was quite average compared to the other laptops of the same price range. The chassis was of thin plastic but was strong enough. I don't feel the display was sturdy it twists when I move the lid. Generally it was ok. 6/10

    Screen quality:
The 17inch WXGA+ display only came with a low 1440x900 resolution however it was better than I thought it did be, it managed to play games with no problem thanks to the 8700m GT. The higher end X205 comes with a WSXGA+ 1680x1050 display but there is a price tag to it of $2399. But the
    x205 is lacking a 1920x1200 resolution option. 6.5/10

    Speakers:
The speakers were one word to describe "amazing" they were made by harman/kardon. The sound was powerful and had no distortions while on max volume. 8/10

    Overall system performance:
Toshiba Satellite X205 (Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 1.80GHz, Nvidia 8700M-GT graphics card) 4,793 PCMarks
Alienware M9750 (Intel Core 2 Duo T7600 2.33GHz, Nvidia go 7950 GTX video cards with 512MB) 6,243 PCMarks
Alienware M7700 (AMD Athlon FX-60, Nvidia Go 7800GTX) 5,597 PCMarks
Not bad scores considering it has a lower procesor than the other 2.

    Conclusions:
    PROS
    -not bad graphics
    -Amazing speakers
    -Cool and quite
-Not bad battery life compared with other 17inch
-well ventilated with 2 fan holes
-Special design (which i don't like)
    -worth the money
    CONS
-Glossy lid may attract finger prints and grease
    -Glossy lid may scratch
    -limited configrations
    -thick!!!!!!!!

    Score system: 6.5/10
    0-3=utterly rubbish
    4-5=below expectations/average
    6-7=above average
    7-8=good
    8-9=excellent
9.5 and above= the best of the best
