This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Toshiba x205-9359 Optical Drive swap

    I am looking at swapping the HDDVD drive from the Toshiba X205-9359 to a bluray drive. Found a laptop bluray drive on sale for under $70.

    Is it possible? Just wondering if anybody has done this?
    Is the optical drive bay on these laptops standard drive bays?
