Is there a travel type charger for the A500?

My problem is that I cannot use the original charger with the Boeing 777's inseat power socket.

Supposedly the maximum power output on the plane's socket is 75w while the original Toshiba AC adapter draws 90w.

I was on the first leg on my trip yesterday and could not get the socket to power the ac adapter at all.

Was wondering if there was a possible solution to reduce the power being drawn. I tried removing the battery yesterday but did not have any luck with it.

I have been looking at the Belkin universal power adapter but want to know if it will work before making the purchase.

Umm, does it really always draw 90w?

My X505 draws 100w only when I play intensive 3d games, and about 30-40w on idle desktop or when websurfing.

i'm not sure if it draws 90w constantly
but when i plugged it into the socket, it would simple not show any power coming through so i presumed this was because of the power demand
i plugged in my iphone's charger with no problem
