I got a new toshiba satellite not to long ago and i leave it on the charger 24/7. i heard this wasnt good recently so i guess i am SOL with trying to reverse any effects it has already had. anyways.... when i take it off the charger and it has 99% remaining there is only about 35 minutes of time before it dies! my dad says it probably came with a not so good battery, but it wasnt cheap. anyone know what my problem iS?

use the battery to 0 or 1%, then charge it, use again and charge once more and it should last longer
