    U205-5067 CD/DVD drive removable?

    The sticker on my U205-5067 says the CD/DVD drive is removable! Is that true? if so how do i remove it? Thanks a million. nimo

    With enough skill, everything is removable. I don't think the drive on the u205 is modular. You got a picture of the sticker.

    I dont have a picture right now but it reads "DVD SuperMulti optical removable/rewritable drive reads and writes up to 11 formats". Its one of those red stickers that sit on toshibas bought from best buy. nimo

    I would think it is the disc that is removable not the drive though you can take the drive out.

    Yes I think you are right. I dont know what they meant by removable...Looks like you have to remove a screw to get it out. Thanks, nimo
