    U405-s2826 Downgrade to XP NEED Help

    I am putting XP on my U405-s2826 I can't find the driver for the
    Ethernet controller and the Network contoller not sure what driver it is.

    I got the item ID numbers from control panel, then just did a google search. LAN/WLAN drivers were pretty easy to find for my machine. Also, decent chance the Vista drivers will work.

    For the record, if you do a CLEAN Vista install, shut down all of the Aero stuff, Vista performs pretty much as good as XP, and has a few advantages. I keep going back and forth, and I'm thinking it really might be time to go to Vista.
