This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     The base video adapter for the U500 (13.3") notebook is the integrated Intel chip. I ordered mine with the optional nVidia 310M GPU. Is it possible (or even desireable) to switch between video adapters? - - - I'm talking about a logical switch here, not cracking the case and unplugging the nVidia card.
