I have a Toshiba u305 13.3 inch notebook, and I'm wondering if the Motherboard can support a newer Core Duo or Even Core 2 processor. Im not worried so much about upgrading it graphics wise, but the CPU is a killer.

All I need to know is if its possible, not how hard or expensive it is.

it already has a santa rosa processor? so its not that bad at all in terms of cpu power

the most it can upgrade to is the t7700 2.4ghz 800mhz or when they are released/available, the x7800 and x7900 2.6 and 2.8ghz extreme processors (though not worth the upgrade)

It has a Pentium Dual Core processor, which I;m sure isnt top or even entry level. It s 1.72 Ghz and it is a good processor but I really would like a newer cpu.
