I have just upgraded to 4GB of Crucial RAM (2x 2GB sticks) on my Toshiba.
I am on a 32bit OS, so only 3070MB is recognised in windows.

I redone the Windows Experience Index scoring, and nothing changed. I was expecting the RAM to go up in points, but it has stuck at a 4.8.

has anyone else with a X205 SLi had any higher in WEI for RAM?

I noticed when I mixed RAM models with the HP (HP RAM originally scored 5.9) the HP WEI score for RAM dropped to 4.9.

I then tried 1 stick of HP's RAM and one of Crucials in the Toshiba and I was expecting 4.9 as well, but only got 4.8.

Is it something to do with the Intel Ready Boost 1GB Turbo RAM in the machine?

I just changed my memory from 2x1 to 2x2 ddr800 and the scorse hasn't changed from 4.8 until i changed the cpu as well to T9300 now my scores changed to the following:
    CPU 4.8 to 5.4
    Mem 4.8 to 5.1
Video card stayed the same 5.9 and 5.6 and the hard drive is the lowest 4.6 but when i put the 7200rpm hitachi drive in it jumps up 5.2

Even if you put 800Mhz memory and 4Gigs it will not improve the windows experience score. The memory bus runs at 667Mhz and your 800Mhz memory will be downclocked to 667Mhz, I also upgraded to 4Gigs of memry and the score stayed the same on my sli1 too.

I can't explain, funny when I upgraded my cpu and memory the memory score stayed at 4.8 and never went up at all. I just checked again and it's still 4.8 score for my memory. :(

speed increased a little bit but i changed the mem/hdd 7200rpm/cpu at the same time.

    WEI is really inaccurate.
When I upgraded from 2*512, to 2*1gb, it went from 4.6 to 4.8.
My bother has 2*1gb too and he has 5.0

I agree, usually I test my system performance by actually playing games.
