I scored a Satellite A60 from my work, I'm pretty sure the hard drive is dying since almost every OS I have tried to install craps out during partitioning or when the files are being copied. It currently has a 40 GB drive in it, could I throw a new 100 GB in it? Does anyone have any experience upgrading Toshiba hard drives? Second question, need to replace the battery also, any suggestions on where to buy from?

    Cheers! Thanks!

Why wouldn't you be able to throw in a 100GB HDD?
Just make sure that get the same connections on the new HDD as the old one and that it is 2.5"
