Hi guys...I'm thinking of adding in an extra 512mb RAM into my machine. However i'm a bit of a n00b and don't know what kind to get. I've heard you're supposed to get the same type of RAm as what you already have, but I don't know exactly what I have in here. If anyone could point me in the right direction in terms of what type to get (brand: Kingston? type: SO DIMM? P2700? i got no clue) or where to get it, it'd be much appreciated. thanks.

Try checking www.Kingston.com or www.Crucial.com as they usually provide a search engine on the supported ram types in your notebook. Normally, it's an SODIMM PC2700 or PC3200 is good, but the search engines will be able to tell you the exact p/n to get.
