    Hello Everyone,

I was thinking about getting a better cpu for my
"Toshiba Satellite Pro 460CDT", it is currenlty running a
Pentium 166Mhz MMX, with 32MB RAM. Would it be possible to put a
233 MMX SOCKET 7 CPU, or a 300Mhz MMX cpu socket 7 in it.

    Thanks
    BRC

I don't think you can make any change to the CPU. I believe it's soldered onto the main board. I could be wrong, I haven't changed a system board on this notebook for a few years.

If its in your budget, you may want to consider buying a new computer, as yours is pretty slow my todays standards. However, if it is fine for your uses then keep it, and more power to you...[ :)].
