Hello everyone, does anyone know if when using a laptop (satellite A70 in my case) in a car will damage or affect it in anyway?? after all, the ride gets really bumpy and shakey. for example, playing a movie for the kids in the back with the laptop. will the vibrations created by the car damage the laptop? wow i sound redundant, haha. any advice appreciated.

B,
You gotta be a bit patient, a lot of people work during the day and may not have the opportunity to respond.
But regarding your question, I don't think it'll cause any damage. As long as the bumps aren't sharp hits against the acutal unit (notebook craching to floor or hitting the side of the interior). If you want something to watch DVD's in the car, why not get a DVD player for the car and not have to worry about the notebook? Just a suggestion.
