Hello all. I have been trying for a few days to figure this out. All of a sudden my computer would automatically restart over and over. So, I wiped out the hard drive and now Vista doesn't see it when I try to install Vista. I press F2 when the computer first starts up and it shows on the main screen...

System Time: [whatever time it is]
    System Date: [the date]

    Hard Disk: WDC WD3200BEVT-00ZCTO-(S1)
    Hard Disk: None

and so on. So I know the computer recognizes the hard drive.
My BIOS has the boot order to first look for the CD/DVD first and then the Built-in HDD1, FDD, LAN. I have the Toshiba disk and the Vista disk the computer came with. When I put in the Vista disk, I get to the screen where it says "Where do you want to install Windows?" but it says no drives were found. When I try the recovery disk from Toshiba, it says Error 08-104B-0000 and says it failed to create partition.

So, how do I get the OS to see the hard drive?

    Thanks in advance.
