I just recently installed windows XP home on my toshiba a135-s4666 notebook which had vista pre-installed, everything works beside my hardwire internet. I dont know what the problem is, I believe i've installed all the recomended programs and my computer recgonizes the connection but no packets are being sent or recieved. Anyone have an idea what would be necessary to fix this problem?

    thanks,

Do you need to install microsoft update kb888111 for Universal Audio Architecture ? My U305 had a similar issue till I installed that update.
