    In both Vista32 and 64 , same problem the volume control wheel when turned hardly does anything, volume only adjust slightly and sometimes it goes down instead of going up and vise verser.

    The only games i play are battlefield2 and Freespace 1&2

    Anybody got any idea what is going on?

    Thanks.

    I have a X200, and suspect not all as simple as it appears with the volume control wheel. When I use it to adjust volume in-game (TF2) for reasons I've never understood a voice command menu comes up (and volume is changed too). Its all a bit weird.

    Ahhhhhhh! A puzzle piece falls into place. Now that you mention it, the voice command menu I mentioned before is bound to "c".

    I wonder what the logic behind volume and "C" is.....

    Okay, I have noticed one thing and that is;
    When I play a game in compatibility mode this happend. The volume dosn't change when I adjust it but some time after. Also it press "C" button :D
    I found this out when I played Counter Strice Source in Windows XP (Service Pack 2) mode.

    This dosn't happend to me when I example play; GTA IV, Wanted WOF, CrySis ect. Which means moder games...
