    Will someone be so kind to explain to me just what program settings are ? I have a new external hard drive and would like to back up all my program settings (Logos bible program, Spotmau program, and etc). Is "settings" the programs them selves that I backup are separate from the programs. If they are separate from the programs where in the programs do I find the settings to backup Any input will be appreciated

    The settings for programs are often embedded within the registry, but some have files within the "Appdata" directory, that you can back up.
