The screen is probably a 720P screen. It is probably not a 1080I resolution, because it has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It can handle the resolution of 720P, which operates at 1280x720. Hope this helps.

if the screen is 1920 x 1080 it can handle any current HD format

    including 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 720i and lower formats.

1920 x 1080 is actual the minimum you need get 1080p HD

ut as overdrive said, the Qsimo G35 is the only Toshiba that has that resolution, its **** expensive in Australia but it also comes with a HD-DVD drive and HDMI out.
