I would like some ideas since I been lookin for laptop. What is the best laptop with maximum cost of 1,500.00 (around 1,300.00 should be good). I m looking for features like 80-100GB, ATI graphic, DVD+-RW/CD+-RW, Centrino 1.6-1.73G, small (14" - 15.4"), light (4-7 lbs), quiet, and cool (less heat). I was looking at toshiba M55-S325, M35-S456, M45-S351, Tecra A4. Which of them are better OR there are another laptop better than I mentioned? I appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I want to be able to carry my laptop around to alot of places and be able to watch movies at night with minimum noise or heat coming from my laptop.

Best Laptop? That's a hard question. Well the Asus Z70Va (customizable) made a major impact this whole year. It's a lot of muscle and style for about the $1500 range.

There is no best laptop. It depends on what you are doing with it. All notebooks have pros and cons. I'd add the Asus Z71v to your list. Good Luck.
