    I have an old toshiba satellite. Can you identify what this slot on the bottom is for?

    Looks like a Mini-PCI slot. Resize your pictures.

    Ahh pictures too big ;)

    Like Lithius said it looks like Mini PCI. Possibly for an internal wifi card that Toshiba didn't actually install in your laptop.

    Mini-PCI as mentioned, it's most commonly used for internal wireless cards like the Intel 2200 or 2915 (highest for this interface I think).
