I was planning to get either a new a100 or a200 series Toshiba Satelite, but i hate the keyboards. The left shift key is so small and there is another key inbetween "z" and "shift"
Does anyone else hate the keyboard design? I kept hitting the wrong key when i tried them out in the store.
I wanted a Toshiba, but will not be buying one due to the crazy keyboard design

Not sure if the quality control guy was drunk this time around. If the keyboard is bad, in some cases you can replace it, but you may have to switch from that model to another. You do not have to be loyal to any brand, as all resellers have a same pool of products to choose from when building their systems.

i dont really mind because i only use the right shift, but the enter key gets kind of annoying after a while

yea a lot of my friends hate it, but I kinda had a messed up keyboard on my pc (with smaller backspace and everything ) so getting used to this was no worry. You too will get used to it in a couple of weeks, don't let just the keyboard hold you back.

Speaking of stupid keyboards, can anybody tell me what's with the "keyboard bending problem" this A100 models are said to have? Is it that "flexible" that it bends when typing?
Thanks!
What is with the stupid keyboards?
