What is your lid color?

This is a pretty silly poll but I'm curious as to what color is the lid of your Toshiba, this is geared mainly towards owners of the newer models like the M40, M50 and M60 series which can come in various lid colors.

I'm don't have a lid thing myself, but i helped some guy buy a p100, and that one had an orange lid. My lord it was ugly

 

Though by asking about only the M series, you are discriminating against the others who have Toshiba Laptops, I will tell you that my A105-S1013 has a dark Blue (called Navy blue back home) lid.

Sorry, didn't know, I thought only Toshiba's recent M series had the option for multiple lid color options.


I have the best preconfigured M55s out right now and for some reason had expected its lid to be black, many other lesser configured M55's I saw in stores were either blue or purple, yet mine turned out to be orange, at first to my dissapointment but now to my liking. It makes my notebook look quite unique and flashy.

 

Most of the notebooks I see at BB and Costco either had orange or blue lids - my old, busted Satellite came with a nice metallic blue paintjob - I really miss it because paintjobs like that are now only found on high-end (3500+) notebooks.

 

This guy I know has Orange .

 

My M60 has a blue lid, you can see it in the pics in my review link in the sig. I love it

 

I know it's for newer owners. But as an authentic former Toshiba notebook own who still loves her first notebook to much to throw its corpse out dispite the ups and downs, so it just sits for all eternity on its own little shelf in my closet where I stare at it longing for it to work again. How often do I get a chance to participate in the Toshiba forum? I'll post anyways. I want ya'll to know the lid color of my A35 is dark navy blue. I think the color was cold 'Deep Sea Blue' when they used it. =)

 

Niki, what the **** are you doing in this forum?? j/k , my would be 4 year old 5005 had a dark navy blue lid also, I loved that color, my M60 is so bright compared to the navy, but it's blue and that's my fav, so I can't complain too much

 

Green, i guess... Looks more like teal to me though. I dont really like it, but i'll learn to live with it.

The one i would have prefered was the copper/orange one.

 

My M100 is mist grey, according to Toshiba.ca. It looks really cool.

Actually they call it mist grAy.

 

In line with this thread, I would love to see a bunch of different angled pictures of the copper, peacock blue, and mist gray covers. One thing I noticed in forgetregret's review was that the blue looked VERY different in two different pictures... I would love to see a few more from each category before I pull the trigger on any of them--- they all look great to me.

I saw the blue one at Best Buy, it was pretty cool but I think the mist gray is better.

 

I just ordered a P100 and got it in "Peacock Blue" but only because the other colors (Copper, Mist Gray) were $30.00 options. You would think that Gray would be the low cost option and the Blue and Copper would cost more but thats not the way it was.

 

The gray has the sort of sparkle finish that the other colors have, so I guess they consider it on the same level as the other 'fancy' options. It has that sort of sparkle like car paint if you haven't seen it before. Anyway, the blue looks cool.

 

Still hoping for more pictures... Does anyone know a good URL? I have firsthand experience with the blue, I would love to see more pictures of the grey and copper aside from the ones from grey reviewed on NBR and the copper small photo that I've seen.

Would love to see some more of the copper in particular.. i have a feeling the sparkle of the grey might be hard to make out in photos..

I'll try to take some of my gray/grey one tomorrow. I finally peeled off the protective film that comes stuck to the lid and it's not as sparkly as I had remembered the blue one in the store being. I'll post soon. That copper one doesn't seem appealing to me at all.

Hopefully these give an idea of what the gray mist looks like. It's pretty dark, nearly black.

Still no proud "Sunlight Copper" (orange) owners out there?

I'm very close to buying a Satellite M100, but I would love to see some pictures of this lid color. I could see this being a really nice copper, or a potentially garish orange... and none of the stores around here carry it. I've only seen one picture of it so far... and as you can tell from forgetregret's review of the blue model-- one picture doesn't tell the whole story--- two pictures in that review almost look like completely different blues... so i would love to see more pictures of copper than this one:
