I'm planning to purchase the Toshiba X205 laptop from an online vendor. This will be my first laptop, so I'm not sure if I should buy any warranty for it. I want to know if I should buy the warranty program ( from some 3rd party service provider) that they also are offering online, or can I take laptop to my local BestBuy store and buy their warranty program for my laptop? Or is the Toshiba manufacturer warranty enough? Please advise. Thanks.

It's kind of personal preference on deciding whether to get an extended warranty or not. Most of the time if something is going to happen to the hardware, it will usually show up within the first year. But not always. Laptops are pretty expensive to get fixed if certain things go wrong with them. I myself, never buy them and it has worked out okay for me.
And if you decide to get an extended warranty, you can also buy one from Toshiba anytime before the first year is up on the regular warranty. -
Might want to look at the warranty guide.
What kind of warranty for Toshiba laptop?
