    I am about to start college and i want something durable. Also i want a dual core processor with 1.73ghz+


    1) What is your budget? $1100 or less

    2) What size notebook would you prefer? 15" or 15.4"

    3) Please select your country's flag as a post icon and tell us what country are you buying this in. USA

    4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like? i really dont know.

    5) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook? Some gaming and school work

    6) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk? i will be taking it around

    7) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games? Flight Simulator X

    8) How many hours of battery life do you need? 3+ would be nice

    9) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?[ B]not really but if i have to i will[/B]

    10) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista), Mac OS, Linux, etc. Vista or XP doesnt matter, if Vista i want premium edition

    15) When are you buying this laptop and how long do you want this laptop to last? i want one before august, and would like it to last 3+ years

    16) How much hard drive space do you want; 40GB to 200GB? preferably a 120 or 160gb with 5400rpm

    17) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a DVD-ROM, DVD-CD/RW or DVD-RW drive? DVD-RW

    You might be able to configure a Dell Inspiron 1520 for that price. If you can't you can try xoticpc.com or powernotebooks.com for HEL80 with decent specs as you wanted.
