I want to upgrade my hard drive in my portege 4010. Firstly I don't know what type is in it now. IDE? SATA? PATA?

Can I put a seagate 160Gb SATA hard drive in it?

Can someone please help me with what types of hard drives I can install? Do they even make the hard drives that work in this laptop anymore?

Pretty sure it's an IDE drive, so no, you can not put in any SATA drive.
