I saw the X300-11S at PC World (Lincoln store) yesterday. It was alongside an XPS 1730 and looks far, far better. And the sound was awesome. It was easily the best looking laptop in the store but I undersand if its style does not appeal to some.

I am looking at getting the X300-11W a would get one today though I do want to wait for a review and I am a bit concerned about what I've heard of Toshiba's customer service

The X300 is available in Belgium, it's the €3000 version though...

What did you think of the screen, Alex? Is it pretty?

I've ordered mine from www.laskys.com - fingers crossed it'll arrive tomorrow!

Oh, it is. I have some concerns about value for money and Toshiba's Customer Support (I am a perfectionist and want to ensure I get the best deal) but I am sure that, when compared to all the other laptops at PC World including the XPS 1730 (which still looks good), it looks the best.
