I can swear to god it was available & in-stock yesterday at comp-usa. I decided to sleep over the decison and final came to a conclusion to buy the Satellite P105-S9312.

So I go to comp-usa site this morning and WTH? It's out of stock!!
Well, I guess Its my luck.. :p

Anyone know where I can buy this model? Amazon says its still in the "preordering phase" and most other cyver retailers dont even carry it.

I NEED the laptop my july 26th!

Good question. Yes, as of yesterday it was at least available for order (although delivery estimate I think seemed to range from 1-2 business days to 2-4 weeks), although Out of Stock in stores. Now it is listed as "Sold Out" for delivery.

I'm curious if anyone knows what is going on with this thing. Seems like Toshiba has a real winner on its hands if they could just get it available to actually buy.

Got mine yesterday at CompUSA in Atlanta, Ga. Very sweet machine, wish it had a faster HDD and higher resolution, but beyond that it is incredible.

Played the latestest Ghost Recon on it last night for a bit and it was smooth. Downloaded the drivers last night and am going to set it up for a dual boot for work and games since some of the stuff install for work are major resource hogs.

Sells for $1999, I got it for a bit less since I get a decent discount there through my work. Some of the stores only got one, some got three; these are going to go fast.

That is sweet man.. I envy you so much :(

I heard that its predecessor ran pretty hot.
How hot does the 312 run? and hows the battery life?

God I wish I could get one soon.
    Im counting on amazon!

the bad thing is that the 150$ rebate is going to be invalid in like 3 days i think , and it's still not avaiable ;p
though i'm starting to wonder whether the upgrades to memory and cpu are worth it compared to the better graphics card in the p100 and a faster hd , afterall this is mainly for gaming and from what i've seen and know the added memory and cpu doesn't give nearly as much added performance as a better graphics card and faster load times from hd.
but i'm still waiting to see what the temps are on the 7900gtx in these laptops

onapartyrock, anything more you can tell us about performance and heat, etc.? I just checked compusa.com, and my local store is now reporting "Limited Quantities" for this laptop, but I'm not sure if I want to bite the bullet yet.
